Hello!
Today I am sharing this adorable trio of bunny cards that I made.
To start, I stamped all three bunny images from the Whimsy Stamps Bunny Balloons stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink onto white cardstock. I also stamped the sentiments that say "Happy birthday," "Enjoy today," and "Have the best day ever." I set them aside to dry as I worked on the rest of the card.
For the backgrounds of each card, I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies to cut from white cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot machine and magic mat from Scrapbook.com. I then used the My Favorite Things Cloud stencil to add clouds to the panels using a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink. I also lightly inked the edges of the panels.
Next, I used the My Favorite Things Stitched Clouds dies (retired) to cut some clouds from vellum.
After the inked images were dry, I colored the bunnies using Prismacolor colored pencils.
Specific colors:
Bunnies: Black, 90%, 50%, 20%, and 10% warm grey
Balloons: Crimson lake, crimson red, carmine red, and white
I fussy cut around the bunnies using my scissors. I also fussy cut the sentiments.
I arranged all of the elements on light blue A2 card bases and glued them down using Art Glitter Glue. I accented each card with Kat Scrappiness Carribean Blue Pearls.
