Polka Dot Orchard Moo-Tastic Halloween - Ready Prints!

Hello!

I am back with some fun Halloween cards featuring digital stamps from Polka Dot Orchard.

Here is my first card:

For all of my cards today, I used the Moo-tastic Halloween digital stamp set and I printed off one of the ready print sheets that are included in the set. The ready prints are full size 8.5" x 11" sheets that have card fronts already put together for you, so you just have to print them, cut them apart, and make your cards. It takes the guess work out of sizing the digitals. You can use them just as they are, or you can do what I have done, and do die cutting and fussy cutting to create your own card styles.

For this card, I first colored in the adorable Highland cow image using my Prismacolor colored pencils. I then used my scissors to fussy cut around him and the sentiments for the card. Specific colors are listed below:

• Hoodie: Black, 90% French Grey, 70% French Grey, Pumpkin Orange, Cadmium Orange Hue, Orange, and Yellowed Orange

• Hooves: Black, 90% French Grey, and 70% French Grey

• Horns/Nose: Light Umber, Goldenrod, and Jasmine

• Fur: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, and Light Umber

Next, I trimmed a piece of patterned paper from my stash to 4" x 5.25" in size to use as my background. I then used the Kat Scrappiness Creepy Crawly dies to die cut some black spider webs using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I glued the webs to the patterned paper using Art Glitter Glue and then trimmed off the overhanging bits.

To finish the card, I glued the background, cow, and sentiments to a white A2 card base.

That's it for the first card.

Here is the second card:

For this card, I used the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Tag Corner Square dies to die cut around the cow. I also fussy cut around the sentiment.

I used the same Prismacolor pencils to color in the cow, but added in Dark Green and Apple Green to create a ground for the cow to sit on. I then used my blending brush with the leftover blue ink and added some blue around the edges.

I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to 4.25" x 5.5" in size and glued it to a white A2 card base. I then glued the sentiment and colored panel in place.

That's it for this card!

Here is the last card:

I used the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX to cut around the cow panel for this card. I used the same Prismacolor pencils as in the previous cards, just adding the Goldenrod into the fur for more contrast. I fussy cut around the sentiments for this card as well.

Next, I trimmed a piece of patterned paper to 4.25" x 5.5" in size and glued everything to a white A2 card base to finish the card.
