Kat Scrappiness Witchy Boo Crew and More!

Hello!

I am back with some cards I made using the new release products from Kat Scrappiness.

Here is my first card:

I stamped the critters from the Witchy Boo Crew stamp set onto white cardstock using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. Once the ink was dry, I colored the images using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Bat: Black, Dioxazine Purple Hue, Violet, Parma Violet, and Lilac

• Ghost: Parma Violet, Lilac, White, 20% French Grey, and 10% French Grey

• Cat: Black, 90% French Grey, 70% French Grey, 50% French Grey, 20% French Grey, and 10% French Grey

• Pumpkin: Terra Cotta, Pumpkin Orange, Cadmium Orange Hue, Dark Brown, Light Umber, and Goldenrod

• Candy Corn: 20% French Grey, 10% French Grey, White, Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, Deco Yellow, Cadmium Orange Hue, Orange, and Yellowed Orange

After coloring, I fussy cut the images with my scissors and set them aside to work on the rest of the card.

To create my background, I trimmed a piece of blue cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size. I then used the Clouds and Grass 6x6 layered stencil, a mini blending brush, and Chipped Sapphire Distress Ink to add some clouds to my sky.

For the ground, I used the A2 Stitched Hills Borders dies and die cut a piece of green cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then added some shading using a mini blending brush and Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, and Rustic Wilderness Distress Inks. I added some shadows in the places where my critters were going to be sitting on the ground as well.

Next, I die cut the fence, moon, and tree from scraps of cardstock using the Crafters Essentials Halloween dies. I added some shading to the moon using a mini blending brush and Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

For my sentiment, I die cut the words "Happy Halloween" using the Happy Halloween Shadow Sentiment dies. I cut it from yellow cardstock and added some shading using Fossilized Amber Distress Ink.

I arranged all of my elements on a white A2 card base and glued them in place using Art Glitter Glue.

That's it for the first card.

Here is card number two:

I started by die cutting the pieces from the Festive Quokka craft dies using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I used mini blending brushes and crafty dabbers to add some shading to the elements using Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Dusty Concord, and Kitsch Flamingo. I glued the layers together using Art Glitter Glue and set the quokka aside.

I then die cut the spider and web using the Creepy Crawly craft dies. I added some shading with Black Soot and Pumice Stone Distress Inks and mini blending brushes.

I also die cut the sentiment using the Spooky Happy Halloween dies and added shading to the white letters with Pumice Stone Distress Ink.

To create a background for my card, I used the Notched Corner Rectangle craft dies to cut a piece of gray cardstock. I then used the Hats and Bats 6x6 stencil, a mini blending brush, and Pumice Stone Distress Ink to create a subtle pattern.

I glued all of my elements to a black A2 card base and finished the card using Black Obsidian Jewels.

Here is the third card:

I started by stamping the witch from the Witchy Boo Crew stamp set onto white cardstock using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I also created a moon by tracing a circle on white cardstock with a black fine line marker. I then colored the images using Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut around them with my scissors. Specific colors are below:

• Skin: Burnt Ochre, Nectar, and Peach

• Hair: Scarlet Lake, Poppy Red, and Pale Vermilion

• Broom: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, Light Umber, Goldenrod, and Jasmine

• Dress and Bow: Dioxazine Purple Hue, Violet, Lilac, 20% French Grey, 10% French Grey, and White

• Hats and Boots: Black, 90% French Grey, 70% French Grey, 50% French Grey, Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, and Deco Yellow

• Moon: 50% French Grey, 30% French Grey, 20% French Grey, and 10% French Grey

To create my background, I trimmed a piece of Smooth Bright White Kat's Color Studio Premium Cardstock to 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I then used blending brushes and Milled Lavender, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Ink to blend a night sky. When the ink was dry, I used a number 2 round brush and Tsukineko Sheer Shimmer Spritz to add some stars. I then used the Notched Corner Rectangle dies to cut out the panel with my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.

Next, I die cut a tree from black cardstock using the Trio of Trees dies.

For my sentiment, I stamped "Happy Halloween" using the Happy Day stamp set and fussy cut around it.

I assembled all of my layers on a white A2 card base and glued them in place using Art Glitter Glue. To finish the card, I added some bats using the Simply Batty Sprinkles.

That's it for the third card.

Here is the last card:

I decided to switch things up and show that the new release could be used for non-Halloween cards. I started by stamping the cow from the Highland Mini Moos stamp set onto white cardstock using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I then colored him using Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut around him with my scissors. I then used a black water-based marker around the edges to cover any white that was showing. Specific Prismacolor colors are below:

• Dark Umber, Dark Brown, Light Umber, Goldenrod, Jasmine, Eggshell, Crimson Red, Carmine Red, Copenhagen Blue, True Blue, and Non-Photo Blue

Next, I die cut my background elements using the Trio of Trees, All Fenced In, and A2 Stitched Hills Borders dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I added shading to them using mini blending brushes and Distress Inks: Vintage Photo, Mowed Lawn, and Pine Needles. I added some extra details to the trees using a Dark Green Prismacolor pencil and added some shading on the grass where the cow is sitting using Apple Green.

To create the background, I used the Clouds and Grass 6x6 Layered Stencil, a mini blending brush, and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to add some clouds directly on a white A2 card base. I then used a black Prismacolor pencil to add some birds in the sky.

For my sentiment, I stamped "Holy cow! You're how old?" from the Highland Mini Moos Sentiments stamp set, fussy cut around it, and inked green around the edges.

I glued all of my card elements onto the card base using Art Glitter Glue.
