Hello!
I am back again to share a card I made using products from the new release at Spellbinders as well as some products from Colorado Craft Company.

I started by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz guillotine trimmer. I then used my MISTI and Altenew Obisidian Pigment Ink to stamp my scene. I first stamped the mice from the Colorado Craft Company Gingerbread House stamp set in the bottom right corner. I used Post It notes and repositionable adhesive to mask them off and then stamped the mouse.
After the ink was dry, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color in the image. Specific colors are below:
House: Sienna Brown, Goldenrod, and Yellow Ochre
Red Candies: Pomegranate, Magenta, and Process Red
Pink Candies: Pink, Blush Pink, and Deco Pink
Black Candies: Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey
Mice: 70% French Grey, 50% French Grey, 30% French Grey, and Deco Pink
Ground: 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White
I then die cut the pieces from the new Spellbinders Sweet Borders die set using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I used blending brushes and Vintage Photo and Worn Lipstick Distress Inks to add color to the layers and glued them together using Art Glitter Glue. I added the layer to my stamped/colored panel and trimmed the edges off using my scissors.
Next, I glued the whole panel to an A2 card base made using Spellbinders Pink Sand cardstock (retired).
To finish the card, I used some stickers from my stash to spell "Be Merry." I chose the colors for my gingerbread house candies to match the stickers. I also used a Spectrum Noir clear overlay glitter pen (I think these are retired) to add some sparkle to the candies on the house.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
