Hello!
Today I am sharing this fun, dimensional card that I made using the new Painted Daisy and Ladybugs die set from Spellbinders. This die set is part of the new Susan Tierney-Cockburn Through the Meadow release.

To make this card, I started by using the Painted Daisy and Ladybugs die set and the Painted Blooms dies and die cutting them from white cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat. I then used inks and ink blending brushes to add a base of color to each piece. I added details using Prismacolor pencils.
Specific colors:
Paintbrush handle: Hero Arts Caramel core ink; Chocolate and Burnt Ochre pencils
Bristles: Hero Arts Espresso core ink
Leaves: Hero Arts Key Lime Fizz and Green Apple reactive inks; Apple Green pencil
Pink flowers: Hero Arts Cotton Candy and Azalea core inks; Process Red and Hot Pink pencils
Yellow flowers: Hero Arts Butter Bar, Spicy Mustard, and Caramel core inks; Dark Umber, Chocolate, and Burnt Ochre pencils (center); Burnt Ochre and Goldenrod pencils
Metal: Pumice Stone Distress Ink; 70% and 30% cool grey pencils
For the background of the card, I took a light pink A2 card base and stenciled over it with the Kat Scrappiness Burlap Background stencils and the Caramel ink and a blending brush.
I stamped the sentiment using Altenew Obsidian black ink. The sentiment is from the Spellbinders Propagation Garden Sentiment stamp set. I then trimmed the sentiment down to add to the card.
I arranged the elements on my card how I wanted them and glued them down with Art Glitter Glue. I trimmed the handle of the paintbrush off when I was done.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also wanted to let you know that today is the last day to shop the Sweetheart sale.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
