Hello!
Today I am here to let you know about Spellbinders' Love at First Press sale. You can save 30% or more on BetterPress and Glimmer Hot Foil products. The sale ends March 4, 2025 at 11:59 MST. You can shop the sale here.
I created this card using some BetterPress and Hot Foil products.

I cut a piece of white Neenah 80lb cardstock to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine trimmer. I then turned on my Glimmer Hot Foil Machine to let it heat up as I prepared the panel to hot foil it. I used the retired Spellbinders Geometric Optical Background hot foil plate and some pink glimmer foil. I taped the foil and cardstock to the hot foil plate using some purple tape (any low tack, removable tape will work).
When the glimmer machine was ready, I placed the hot foil plate onto the platform and pressed the timer button. When that was done, I ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot machine to press the foil into the cardstock.
I created the sentiment using the same foil with the Spellbinders Mini Everyday Sentiments hot foil plates and cut the sentiment strip out with the coordinating die. The sentiment reads "Sending birthday wishes."
The poppy is from the Spellbinders Poppy Greetings press plates. I used the same cardstock to press the plate into it using my BetterPress Letterpress system and the BetterPress black ink. I ran the whole thing through my Big Shot as well.
I decided to fussy cut around the flowers, and then I used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to add some color to the centers of the flowers. I
I glued the background panel to a Spellbinders Pink Sand A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I also glued the flower down flat. I attached the sentiment using 1/8" foam tape strips.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create!
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
