Spellbinders Gorgeous You Wax Stamp Release

Hello!

Today I am sharing some cards that I made using the new Spellbinders Gorgeous You Wax Stamp release.

This first card features the Flower Mini 3D Wax Seal.

I trimmed a piece of Spellbinders Light Pink cardstock to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I then used a paper pouncer and Vintage Photo Distress Ink with the Divinity Designs Flourishes stencil to add interest to the background. I used repositionable tape on the back of the cardstock and mint tape on the edges of the stencil to hold them both on my glass media mat. The text stamp is the Stampabilities Faded Text Background stamp and was stamped using Walnut Stain Distress Ink.

I created the wax seal using the Spellbinders wax seal kit and Antique Gold Wax Beads. I used a craft mat and poured the wax on it after it melted. I then pressed the Flower Mini 3D Wax Seal into it and let it set. Once it was fully hardened, I carefully peeled it up from the mat.

I die cut the flowers from the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms die set from black cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat. The "thinking of you" sentiment was stamped using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and the Spellbinders Propagation Garden Sentiments stamp set. It was cut out with the coordinating die.

The envelope and twine were both pulled from my stash to finish the card.

To put the card together, I wrapped the twine around the background panel and tied a bow on the right hand side of the card. I glued the panel to an A2 size kraft card base using Art Glitter Glue. I attached the envelope over the twine and then glued the flowers flat on top of it. The wax seal was attached to the bottom of the envelope. Finally, the sentiment was added to the bottom right corner of the card.

Next up is the card featuring the Puffy Heart Mini 3D Wax Seal.

To make this card, I cut an A2 card base from Spellbinders Pink Sand cardstock (retired - any light pink will do). I then used the Spellbinders Sign Here stamp set and Tea Dye Distress Ink to add interest to the background.

The postcard was stamped using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and a retired Stampin' Up! stamp called Post Card using my Misti. I fussy cut around the postcard and used the same Sign Here stamp set and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add some interest to it.

The "All Thinks Grow With Love" sentiment is from the Spellbinders Propagation Garden Sentiment stamp set.

I die cut the flowers using the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms die set and my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat.

To create the wax seal, I used the same method as above using Spellbinders Coral Mix Wax Beads and Puffy Heart Mini 3D Wax Seal.

To put the card together, I centered the postcard on the card base and adhered it with Art Glitter Glue. I then glued the flowers to the right hand side of the card and attached the wax seal using Zots Clear Adhesive Dots 3D. The crystals are Studio Katia Onyx Crystals (retired).

Finally, we have the card featuring the Butterfly Mini 3D Wax Seal.

To create this card, I cut an old book page down to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I adhered it to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then added some shine using Tarnished Brass Mica Spray. I set it aside to dry as I worked on the rest of the card.

I die cut the flowers from black cardstock using the Spellbinders Be Bold Blooms dies using my Sizzix Big Shot Machine and magic mat.

The wax seal was created using the Spellbinders Butterfly 3D Wax Seal and Antique Gold Wax Beads.

I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment using the Spellbinders Propagation Garden Sentiments set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and die cut it with the coordinating die.

I glued everything to the card panel using Art Glitter Glue.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed these cards and are inspired to create. I also hope that you will check out Spellbinders' new release.

Happy crafting!
