Spellbinders Go Kart Go!

Writer's picture: Kelsey Thomas Kelsey Thomas

Hello!

Today I am sharing this adorable card that I made with the new Spellbinders Go Kart Go die set from the Little Smiles release.

I used the Go Kart Go dies and cut out the pieces from heavy weight white cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot machine and magic mat. I then used alcohol markers to color them. I accented the eyes/nose using a King Art Inkline pen.

Specific colors:

  • Car body: Spectrum Noir TB3, TB4, TB5, and TB7

  • Wheels and steering wheel: Spectrum Noir IG4, IG8, and IG10

  • Monkey body and arm: Spectrum Noir EB4 and EB6

  • Monkey face, ears, and belly: Spectrum Noir RB1 and RB2

  • Bear face: Spectrum Noir BG8 and BG10

  • Bear nose: Spectrum Noir RB1 and RB2

  • Crown, flower, and lights: Altenew Y512 and Y514

  • Leaves: Spectrum Noir CG2 and CG3

I created the road by taking a scrap of black cardstock. I cut it to 4" wide and then used my scissors to make it wavy. I used a white Posca pen to add the dashes.

I used the Spellbinders Stylized Happy Birthday dies for the sentiment.

The background is an embossed panel from my stash. I believe it is a retired Stampin' Up! folder.

I glued everything down on a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create! I also hope you will head on over to the Spellbinders website to check out the adorable new release!

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
