Spellbinders Floral Fence of Togetherness

Writer: Kelsey Thomas Kelsey Thomas

Hello!

I am back again sharing another project using the Spellbinders March 2025 3D Embossing Folder of the Month.

To create the background for this card, I trimmed a piece of Neenah cardstock down to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I then used the Floral Fence of Togetherness 3D embossing folder and my Sizzix Big Shot machine to emboss the panel.

Next, I used Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks and blending brushes to add color to the background. Once I had enough ink down, I grabbed Black Soot Distress Ink and a foam blending tool and very gently rubbed the foam over the background to add some black ink to the raised areas to make them stand out. I really like how this looks.

I stamped the bee from the Hero Arts Beelieve stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and colored it with Prismacolor colored pencils. I used Goldenrod, Yellow Ochre, Canary Yellow, Light Green, White, and Black to color the bee. I then fussy cut it out and glued it to the center flower using Art Glitter Glue.

The sentiment is from the Honey Bee Stamps Be Still stamp set. I stamped it with the same ink, fussy cut around it, and then glued it to the upper right corner.

I glued the whole panel to a black A2 card base.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

I also wanted to let you know that Hero Arts has a ton of products in their last chance section, including the Beelieve stamp set. You can check it out here.

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
