This fun BetterPress plate is included in the sale, so I had to make a card to share with you all today.
I cut a piece of Hero Arts watercolor paper down to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine trimmer. I then placed the Poppy Greetings BetterPress plate on my BetterPress Letterpress platform and inked it up using black BetterPress ink. I then ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot Machine.
After letting the ink dry for a bit, I then used my Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers and a number 2 round brush to watercolor the poppies. Specific colors: Burgundy and Crimson (petals), Topaz and Sunflower (centers), and Bud Green and Meadow (leaves).
I then stamped the "Thinking of you" sentiment from the Propagation Garden Sentiment stamp set using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I glued the whole panel to an A2 Fern colored card base using Art Glitter Glue.
