Hello!
I am back with another project using products from Spellbinders paired with some leftovers of my Rach and Bella Crafts digital kits from making other junk journaling projects.

I first created the pocket for this project using the new Spellbinders Essential Envelope Every Day Add-on die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I cut the pieces out of a manila folder to make it nice and sturdy. To create the front of the pocket, I cut the tabbed piece a second time and then used the curved die to make the notch at the top. I inked around both pieces with a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then glued them together using Art Glitter Glue.
Next, I worked on the layers for the pocket. I dug through my stash of Rach and Bella Crafts printed junk journal kits to find a paper that I wanted to use and die cut it using the curved die from the set. I then trimmed the edges until it fit nicely on my pocket, inked around the edges, and glued it flat.
I then took another piece of the manila folder and embossed it using the new Spellbinders Crackle Paint 3D embossing folder. I tore a piece to fit in the corner of the pocket and inked around it. I also glued that flat.
Next, I found some ephemera pieces from the Rach and Bella Crafts kits and inked around those. I layered a piece of fabric on the left side of the pocket and glued it down with Fabri-tac. I then layered the two ephemera pieces on top.
To finish the pocket, I used two stickers from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Chitchat sticker pack.

I then created a small booklet to put inside the pocket. I trimmed and folded some dyed papers from my stash to make the pages, found a digital paper scrap that I liked to have as the cover, and stapled the booklet together. I then added a few ephemera pieces and a word sticker to finish it off.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed this project and are inspired to create. Have you ever tried junk journaling before? Let me know in the comments below. :)
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
