Spellbinders Distress Mix

Hello!
I am back with a couple cards using new products from Spellbinders.
Here is the first one:

I started by trimming a piece of Bee Inspired Mixed Media Paper to 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I then embossed it using the new Spellbinders Distress Mix 3D embossing folder and my Sizzix Big Shot.
Next, I used Dylusions Fresh Lime and Cut Grass ink sprays along with Lindy's Starburst Spray in Drop Dead Gorgeous Green to add some ink to the panel. I used a mini mister to add some water and let the inks mix together. I set the panel aside to dry completely.
After it was dry, I used a foam blending tool and Black Soot Distress Ink to add some contrast by gently rubbing it over the surface of the panel to catch the raised areas.
I created the sentiment by stamping the large "thank you" on a piece of white cardstock using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I also cut a 1/8" strip to stamp the secondary sentiment that reads "for going above and beyond." The sentiments are from the Mama Elephant Thank You (Love You) stamp set.
After the ink dried, I used my scissors to fussy cut around the thank you and trimmed the strip down to size.
I glued the panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then glued the large sentiment flat in the bottom right corner. I popped up the sentiment strip using 1/8" foam tape strips.
That's it for the first card.
Here is the second:

I followed the same steps to make this card. For the ink sprays, I used Dylusions Vibrant Turquoise and London Blue paired with Distress Mica Stain in Merry Mint.
The secondary sentiment in this card reads "I appreciate you."
I assembled the card the same way as the first one, this time placing the sentiment in the top left.
That's it for both cards! I hope you enjoyed them and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
