Hello!
I am back again with another project using products from the new Spellbinders release.

I started by die cutting the pieces of the cat, hat, and sentiment from scraps of cardstock using the Spellbinders Congrats Cat set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I cut the pieces of the cat and hat from white cardstock and used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color them. Specific colors are below:
Cat body: Warm Grey 30%, Warm Grey 20%, and Warm Grey 10%
Cat stripes and mouth: Warm Grey 70%, Warm Grey 50%, and Warm Grey 30%
Ears/nose/paws/tongue: Pink, Blush Pink, and Deco Pink
Whiskers: Black, 90% Warm Grey, and 70% Warm Grey
Eyes: Black, Apple Green, Spring Green, and Chartreuse
Hat: Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey
Tassel: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
I used a white gel pen and a black Kingart Inkline pen to add the mouth and eye details back in after coloring.
To create a place for my cat to sit, I die cut a white and red oval using the Spellbinders Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval dies.
For a background, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size and embossed it using the Spellbinders Dimpled 3D embossing folder.
I arranged all of my elements on a black A2 card base and glued them in place using Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
