Spellbinders Classic Pooh Baby Release

Hello!

I am back today with some projects that I made using the new Spellbinders Say Cheese Classic Pooh Baby release.

Here is my first card:

To make this card, I die cut a panel of white cardstock using the Spellbinders Linear Touch Rectangles and tag die set with my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the Pooh image from the new Spellbinders Hello Baby stamp set. The sentiment is from the Bundle of Joy set.

As the ink was drying, I trimmed a piece of light purple cardstock to 5.5" x 4" and embossed it using the new Classic Pooh Baby Blocks embossing folder.

Once the ink was dry, I colored the image using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

  • Floor: 30% Warm Grey, 20% Warm Grey, and 10% Warm Grey

  • Pooh: Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, and Jasmine

  • Rattle: Violet, Parma Violet, Lilac (Amethyst), 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White

I glued everything flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.

That's it for the first card.

Here is card number two:

For this card, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 3.5" x 2.5" in size. I used my MISTI and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the cute silhouette image from the Bundle of Joy stamp set across the bottom of the panel. I then stamped the "Lil' bundle of joy" sentiment from the same set.

After the ink was completely dry, I then used blending brushes and distress ink to make a fun sunset sky. Here are the colors I used: Spiced Marmalade, Picked Raspberry, Dusty Concord, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot.

I cut a mat from black cardstock and glued my inked panel to it.

To give the card some more interest, I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" and embossed it using the Spellbinders Stars and Frond Frame embossing folder using my Sizzix Big Shot.

I glued all of my card layers to a black A2 card base.

That's it for the second card.

Next up is card number three:

For this simple card, I used the new The Hundred Acre Wood press and foil plate to add some shine to a piece of white Neenah cardstock using my Spellbinders Glimmer machine. I used silver foil and ran the whole platform through my Sizzix Big Shot when it was done heating up. I trimmed the panel to 4" x 5.25" in size.

For the sentiment, I used the Sweet Sentiments press and foil plate/die set and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to make some sentiments using the BetterPress LetterPress system. I then die cut the sentiments using the coordinating die.

I chose the sentiment that says "You are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think," and inked it up using a blending brush and Peeled Paint Distress Ink.

I glued everything to a green A2 card base.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed these card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!
