Spellbinders Buon Appetito Release

Hello!

I am back with another project featuring new release products from Spellbinders.

I started by trimming a piece of cream cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size. I then embossed it using the new Spellbinders Al Dente 3D embossing folder and my Sizzix Big Shot Machine. I used a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add some interest to the background.

Next, I worked on the other elements of the card from Bee Inspired Watercolor Paper. I die cut the meatball from the new Spellbinders Ingredient Buddies die set. The spaghetti and the fork are from the new Spellbinders Pasta Friends die set.

I then used a number 2 round brush and Grabie watercolor paints to color the die cut pieces. Specific colors are below:

• Pasta: Lemon Curry, Sunflower, and Macaron Rose

• Meatball: Black, Macaron Rose, Umber, and Garnet

• Fork: Turkish Blue

After the paint dried, I used a 03 black Kingart Inkline pen to trace over the eyes and mouths to make them stand out more.

I trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 1/4" and stamped the sentiment from the new Spellbinders Stay Saucy stamp set using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment reads "More spaghetti less upsetti."

I glued all of the elements of the card to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
