Spellbinders A Special Toast

Hello!

I am back with another project using new release products from Spellbinders.

ree

I started by die cutting the glass and ring pieces from white cardstock using the new Spellbinders A Special Toast die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used Tombow Mono Multi liquid glue to cover the surface of the die cuts and set them aside to dry. For the diamond, I used a scrap of Sizzix Opulent cardstock.

After the glue was dry and felt tacky to the touch, I used scraps of silver glimmer foil to cover the pieces in silver foil. I pressed the foil in place using a bone folder to get good coverage. This is a great way to use up your foil scraps!

I then used some pink cardstock scraps to cut out the layers for the drink and glued them together using Art Glitter Glue.

To create the rest of the elements for the card, I used the new Spellbinders Linear Touch Rectangles and Tag die set to cut out a pink background panel and a cream colored tag. For the background panel, I used the Spellbinders Lots of Circles stencil and a blending brush and Spun Sugar Distress Ink to add some interest.

I stamped "Happy Anniversary" onto the tag using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions The Inside Scoop - Anniversary stamp set.

I assembled all of my elements on a white A2 card base and glued everything flat.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
