Polka Dot Orchard - Whoops a Daisy Art Planner Page

Hello!

Today I am sharing a page from my art planner using Polka Dot Orchard digital stamps and some fun mixed media products.

I use a Canson XL Mix Media paper pad for my art planner. To create this page, I used some King Art gel sticks directly to the paper. I used my finger to blend the colors together. The colors I used are: deep navy, cobalt blue, turquoise, aqua green, and violet.

I then used some Broken China and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks and some random stamps from my stash to add some texture to the background.

I printed the floral image from the Whoops A Daisy digital stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard onto vellum and set it aside to dry. This is very important. You don't want to smear the ink when you print it. I think I let it dry for at least an hour before fussy cutting the image. I'm not sure how long it actually needs to dry, but I wanted to be safe. The sentiment was printed on white cardstock and is from the Heart of a Wildflower digital stamp set. I fussy cut around the sentiment as well.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed this project,

Happy crafting,

Kelsey
