Polka Dot Orchard - Sunny Side Up Valentine Card

Hello!

I am back again with another Valentine card using products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by printing the bacon, egg, and sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Sunny Side Up digital stamp set onto white cardstock. I colored the images using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Egg: Yellowed Orange, Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, Eggshell, Cream, and White

• Bacon: Chestnut, Henna, Mahogany Red, Chocolate, Sienna Brown, and Mineral Orange.

I fussy cut around them with my scissors and set them aside. I also trimmed out the sentiment and inked around the edges using a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink.

I dug through my stash of backgrounds and pulled out one that looked like it would pair well with the bacon and eggs. I used a retired Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangles die and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat to cut around the panel and inked the edges.

I glued the die cut panel to a yellow A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then arranged my sentiment, bacon, and eggs on it and glued them in place.
