Polka Dot Orchard Stand Tall - A Christmas Card!

Hello!

I am back with another project featuring products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by printing the giraffe image and sentiment onto white cardstock. The giraffe is from the Polka Dot Orchard Stand Tall digital stamp set and the sentiment is from Very Beary Christmas. The sentiment reads "It's the most wonderful time of the year."

I then colored the giraffe using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Scarf and Hat: Dioxazine Purple Hue, Violet, and Parma Violet

• Giraffe Spots: Chocolate

• Giraffe Body: Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, and Jasmine

I then fussy cut around the giraffe with my scissors. I also fussy cut around the sentiment.

I found a piece of patterned paper from my stash that I thought went well with the giraffe and used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat to cut out a panel. To add more interest, I used the Altenew Fine Frames Rectangles dies to cut out some rectangles from black cardstock.

I arranged all of the card elements on a black A2 card base and glued them flat with Art Glitter Glue.
