Hello!
Today I have a packed post with lots of fun Pooh cards featuring new digital stamps from Polka Dot Orchard. You are going to love these cute sets! The best part? All of the Pooh sets are on sale for $5 each, so head on over to the shop to check them out. :)
First up is this cute card featuring the Together We Have It All set:
This set comes with what Jessica calls "ready prints," which means she has the stamps formatted as card fronts already, so all you have to do is print! It makes it so easy, especially if you just want to make some quick cards without having to figure out resizing for digitals.
I printed off one of the ready prints onto some white cardstock and cut it down to 4" x 5.25" in size. Working on my glass media mat, I then used a foam blending tool to ink blend my background. I used Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, and Salty Ocean Distress Inks. I then added some splatters using some metallic watercolor paints that I picked up a long time ago at Michael's for about $5. :)
I colored the cute image using Prismacolor colored pencils. I then attached the whole panel to a purple A2 sized card base.
Next up are these cute cards from the It's a Great Day for a Birthday set:
Again, these sets come as ready prints, so I printed off a page and cut them down to 4" x 5.25" in size. I colored the Pooh images with Prismacolor colored pencils again. I then used the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil and some Fossilized Amber, Abandoned Coral, and Tumbled Glass Distress inks to make some fun sky scenes. Both panels were adhered to white A2 card bases.
Next up, we have these three cards using the Life is a Grand Adventure set:
I printed off a ready print sheet and cut it down. I then used the same colored pencils and Distress ink colors as the previous two cards. I adhered two of these panels to white card bases, and one to a gray base.
Finally, we have these fun cards that feature the Life is a Grand Adventure, It's a Great Day for a Birthday, and Hundred Akre Wood Map sets:
For the first card, I printed off the map and cut it down to size. I then used Peeled Paint, Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to ink it up and give it a vintage-y feel. The Pooh image and sentiment are from the birthday set. I colored Pooh and the balloon with Prismacolor colored pencils and fussy cut around it. The sentiment was cut out with a stitched rectangle die from a retired Stampin' Up! set. I glued the image and sentiment to the map and then adhered the panel to a white A2 card base.
For the second card, I crumpled up the map and then flattened it out before inking. I used the same colors as above, with the addition of Tea Dye Distress Ink. The Pooh and sentiment are from the grand adventure set. They were again colored/fussy cut/die cut with the same products as the last card and glued to the map. The whole panel was attached to a red A2 card base.
Whew! That was a lot of cards! I hope you enjoyed them and are inspired to go check out Jessica's shop!
Happy crafting,
Kelsey
