Polka Dot Orchard - Merry Christmouse

Hello!

I am back with another project for Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by printing the skates and sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Merry Christmouse digital stamp set onto white cardstock.

Next, I colored the skates using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Blades: 70% Cool Grey, 50% Cool Grey, and 30% Cool Grey

• Heels/soles: Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey

• Boots: True Blue, Non-Photo Blue, and Electric Blue

• Strings: Indigo Blue

I then fussy cut around both the skates and the sentiment with my scissors and set them aside to work on the rest of the card.

I trimmed a navy piece of cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size and then embossed it with the Spellbinders Pine Cones and Berries 3D embossing folder (retired) using my Sizzix Big Shot machine.

I then used Kat Scrappiness Antique Gold Airy Metallic Mousse to add some shine to the background.

I glued all of my elements flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
