Hello!
I am back today with some projects made using the new Easter release from Polka Dot Orchard.
Here is the first card:

I started by printing the image and sentiment from the new Polka Dot Orchard Spring Blessing digital stamp set onto white cardstock.
I then colored the image using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Bunny: 70% French Grey, 50% French Grey, 30% French Grey, 20% French Grey, and 10% French Grey
Yellow Egg/Flowers: Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, and Deco Yellow
Pink Egg/Flowers: Process Red, Hot Pink, and Blush Pink
Green Egg/Leaves: Grass Green, True Green, and Light Green
Blue Egg: True Blue, Non-Photo Blue, and Light Cerulean Blue
Purple Egg/Flowers: Dioxazine Purple Hue, Parma Violet, and Lilac
Teal Egg/Flowers: Cobalt Turquoise, Aquamarine, and Light Aqua
Grass: Dark Green, Apple Green, and Spring Green
I then die cut the panel using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.
For the sky, I used a blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to add a base layer of color. I then used a Kat Scrappiness Kat's Crafty Dabber and Salty Ocean Distress Ink to darken the edges. To add even more interest, I added some spatters using Lindy's Starburst Spray in Sassy Sapphire.
I then added some detail to the eggs and flowers using a white Gelly Roll pen.
Next, I fussy cut around the sentiment using my scissors.
To assemble my card, I glued the die cut panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then glued the sentiment to the top of the card and centered it. To finish it off, I added some sequins from my stash and added more sparkle with some Icicle Stickles in the centers.
That's it for the first card.
Here is card number two:

I printed the cute Pooh and Piglet image and sentiment from the new Polka Dot Orchard Egg-cited Friends digital stamp set onto white cardstock.
I then used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the scene. Specific colors are below:
Pooh: Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, Jasmine, 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, White, Pink, Blush Pink, and Deco Pink
Piglet: Pomegranate, Process Red, Hot Pink, Pink, Blush Pink, and Deco Pink
Egg: Grass Green, True Green, Light Green, Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, Deco Yellow, Dioxazine Purple Hue, Parma Violet, Lilac, Process Red, Hot Pink, and Pink
Ground: Dark Green, Apple Green, and Spring Green
I used my scissors to fussy cut around Pooh and Piglet, leaving a lot of extra cardstock on the bottom for die cutting. I then carefully place the colored piece under a Kat Scrappiness Zig Zag Nesting Slimline die and die cut the bottom portion using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.
I then die cut a piece of white cardstock using the same die. I used a blending brush and Salty Ocean Distress Ink to add some clouds using the My Favorite Things Mini Cloud Edges stencil. To add some interest to my clouds, I used a palette knife to add some Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse. I set the panel aside to dry for a bit.
For a background, I trimmed a piece of blue polka dot paper from the Lawn Fawn Stripes 'n Sprinkles 6x6 paper pad to 4" x 5.25" in size.
I glued the patterned paper to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and arranged my die cut panel and colored panel in the center. To finish the card, I fussy cut around the sentiment with my scissors and glued it to the bottom of the card.
That's it for card number two.
Here is the last card:

I printed the egg and sentiment from the new Polka Dot Orchard Easter Greetings digital stamp set onto white cardstock. I fussy cut around the sentiment with my scissors, inked around the edge, and set it aside.
For the egg, I started by using a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to add a vintage-y feel to the egg. I then colored the egg using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Pink
Apple Green
Parma Violet
Canary Yellow
True Green
When I was done coloring, I fussy cut around the egg.
To give the egg somewhere to sit, I used the My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX dies and cut a shape from white cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then stamped it with a script stamp and inked the edges using Vintage Photo. I glued the egg to the center.
For the background, I trimmed a piece of digital paper from the Whimsical Paperie Art Vintage Easter Digital Papers set to 4" x 5.25" in size. I glued this piece to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then added my die cut panel and sentiment to the card. To finish the design, I added some Kat Scrappiness Black Obsidian Jewels.
That's it for all cards! I hope you liked them and are inspired to create!
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
