Polka Dot Orchard Bugs and Kisses

Hello!

I am back again with another card featuring products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I printed the bug image from the Polka Dot Orchard Bugs and Kisses digital stamp set onto white cardstock. I also printed the sentiment out on kraft cardstock. The sentiment reads "Sending you bugs & kisses." I trimmed the sentiment and inked around the edges.

I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the bug and fussy cut around it with my scissors. Specific colors are below:

• Legs/marks: Black, 90% French Grey, and 70% French Grey

• Body: Pomegranate, Process Red, and Hot Pink

Next, I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Label Frame nesting dies to cut out a panel from kraft cardstock using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used a retired Honey Bee Stamps Fluttering Hearts stencil to add some hearts to the panel using a blending brush and Walnut Stain Distress Ink. I also inked around the edges using a foam blending tool.

To put my card together, I glued the die cut panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then arranged my bug on it and glued it flat. I popped the sentiment up using foam squares and then accented the card with some Kat Scrappiness Chocolate Jewels.
