Hello!
I am back with another Valentine card featuring products from Kat Scrappiness.

When I saw this stamp set, I knew that I needed to make a fun scene to go with it. I started by trimming a piece of white Neenah cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size. Next, I masked off a portion on the right side of the card and stamped the quokka that is leaning over to give a kiss. He is from the Kat Scrappiness Valentine Quokkas stamp set. I used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp him. I used tape to mask off the lower part of his body because I knew that I wanted to sketch in a kissing booth around him. Next, I stamped the other quokka to the left of the first one.
I then used a pencil to sketch in my scene. I first drew in the kissing booth around the first quokka and then sketched in a ground line. When I was satisfied with my scene, I used a Kingart black Inkline pen to trace over my lines and then used an eraser to get rid of the pencil lines.
I colored my scene using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Quokkas: Sienna Brown, Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, Black, 90% Warm Grey, and 70% Warm Grey
Booth pole: 90% Warm Grey, 70% Warm Grey, and 50% Warm Grey
Booth (red): Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
Booth (pink): Mulberry, Process Red, and Hot Pink
Grass: Dark Green, Apple Green, and Spring Green
Sky: Mediterranean Blue, Light Cerulean Blue, Sky Blue Light
Clouds: Mediterranean Blue, Hot Pink, and White
After coloring the scene, I got to work on my sentiment. I die cut the words "love you" using the Kat Scrappiness Love You dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat and then stamped "Happy Valentine's Day" from the Valentine Quokka set onto a strip of white cardstock.
I glued my colored panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then arranged my sentiment at the bottom of the card.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
