Kat Scrappiness Snow Layering Christmas Tree

Hello!

I am back again with another project for Kat Scrappiness.

ree

I started by die cutting the layers for my tree from green, white, brown, and gold scraps of cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Snow Layering Christmas Tree die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.

I then used a Dark Green Prismacolor pencil to add some shading to the green layer of the tree. For the snow, I used a palette knife and Kat Scrapiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse to add some sparkling snow texture. After the paste dried, I used a small/flat blending brush from Picket Fence to add some blue using Tumbled Glass Distress Ink for a bit more contrast. I glued the layers of the tree together using Art Glitter Glue and set it aside to work on the rest of the card.

For the background panel, I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies to cut out a piece of light blue cardstock. I then used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and the Kat Scrappiness Burlap Background stencil to add some light shading with Tumbled Glass. I then used a foam blending tool to add some heavier blue shading around the whole panel.

I glued the panel to a white A2 card base and then added the tree. To make the sentiment, I used the Kat Scrappiness Crafters Essentials Fall die set to cut the stitched strip and then stamped it using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment is from the Kat Scrappiness Merry Critters set. I added the sentiment to the card using foam squares.

For a finishing touch on the card, I used Kat Scrappiness Falling Snow Sprinkles to add some snowflakes and complete my cozy winter scene.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!
