Kat Scrappiness Rolly Polly Pandas

Hello!

I am back again with another fun card using products from Kat Scrappiness.

I started by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" in size. Next, I used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the panda climbing the bamboo from the Kat Scrappiness Rolly Polly Pandas stamp set. The panda in this set only has a small piece of bamboo. I wanted the bamboo stalk to stretch across the whole card, so I used a pencil and drew the rest of the bamboo and a second stalk. When I was satisfied with it, I used a black Kingart Inkline pen to trace over it and then erased my pencil lines.

To add some more fun to my scene, I stamped the rolling panda to the left using my MISTI and then sketched in some rolling hills. I added a sentiment from the A Hundred Acre Sentiments stamp set that reads "If you weren't you, we'd all be a little less we."

After the ink was dry, I colored my scene using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Panda (white): 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, and White

• Panda (black): Black, 90% Warm Grey, and 70% Warm Grey

• Panda (mouth): Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red

• Bamboo leaves: Grass Green, Apple Green, and Spring Green

• Bamboo cane: Light Umber, Beige Sienna, and Seashell Pink

• Hills: Dark Green, Grass Green, Apple Green, and Spring Green

I added some bamboo in the distance to add some more interest to the scene. The panda on the bamboo is colored "inverse" of a real panda, which is very fitting with this fun sentiment!

To add some blue to the sky, I used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to make a blue edge.

I glued the panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
