Kat Scrappiness Pawsome Valentine

Hello!

I am back again with another card featuring products from Kat Scrappiness.

I started by die cutting the pieces for my dog using the Kat Scrappiness Build A Pawsome Dog die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I cut the pieces from Bristol cardstock and used my Altenew Artist Markers to color him in. I used markers from the Coffee Break, Seashore, and Green Fields sets. I glued the layers together using Art Glitter Glue and set it aside to work on the rest of the card.

I cut out a background panel using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies and inked around the edges using a blending brush and Abandoned Coral Distress Ink.

Next, I die cut the heart from a light peachy-red cardstock and light brown cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Pawsome Heart craft die set. I used the new Kat Scrappiness Crafty Dabbers and Distress Inks to add inking to the center of the heart. I used Abandoned Coral, Barn Door, and Vintage Photo. For the frame of the heart, I used Walnut Stain.

I figured out the placement for my heart and dog on my background panel, and then used my MISTI to stamp "Happy Valentine's Day!" from the Kat Scrappiness Happy Day stamp set. I used Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink for my stamping.

I then glued all of my elements to the panel and glued it to a white A2 card base. To finish the card, I used a white gel pen to add some details to the dog's nose and the pawprint and then accented the card with Kat Scrappiness Mocha Pearls.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
