Kat Scrappiness - Kat's Birthday Hop!

Hello!

I am back today with a special project. I am taking part in a birthday hop on Instagram to celebrate Kat Driggers' birthday! She is the owner of Kat Scrappiness and is an amazing person! I hope you will join me and hop along to wish her a happy birthday.

I started by die cutting some labels to use on my card using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Label Frame nesting dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I cut them from navy, teal, and white.

On the white panel, I stamped the whale and sentiment from the Kat Scrappiness Friends Under the Sea stamp set using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment reads "I 'sea' it's your birthday!"

After the ink dried, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the whale. Specific colors are below:

• Water: Blue Violet Lake, Blue Slate, and Powder Blue

• Whale Belly: Cobalt Turquoise, Aquamarine, and Light Aqua

• Whale Body: Indigo Blue, Indanthrone Blue, and Denim Blue

I added some white dots along his back using a white Gelly Roll pen.

Next, I used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and Tumbled Glass Distress Ink to add some water under the whale.

I glued all of the layers flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. To finish off the card, I added some Kat Scrappiness Carribean Blue Pearls.
