Kat Scrappiness - Fun Shaped Card

Hello!

Today I am sharing this cute card I made for Kat Scrappiness.

I created the card base by using the largest die from the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Squares dies and cutting out two pieces in heavy white cardstock. I scored one panel along the top about 1/4" down to make a hinge to open the card and glued them together, with the scored panel at the back.

I then used the next size down die to cut a polka dot panel out from the Kat Scrappiness Perk Up 6x6 Paper Pad to have a fun layer of color in the card.

Next, I used an even smaller die to cut a postage stamp out of white cardstock. I used the cute quokka image from the Kat Scrappiness Be My Valentine stamp set to stamp on this piece using Altenew Obsidian Black Ink. I set the panel aside to dry. I also stamped the sentiment using the Kat Scrappiness Rock Candy stamp set at this time so it would have time to dry.

After the ink was dry, I colored the image using a combination of Altenew and Spectrum Noir alcohol markers.

I assembled all of the layers of the card and embellished it with some Kat Scrappiness Mermaid Tail Pearls.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card!

Happy crafting,

Kelsey
