Hello!
Today I am sharing these cute Easter cards I made using some products from Kat Scrappiness.

Before I get into the process for the cards, I want to mention that Kat Scrappiness is having an Easter sale, so if you like this stamp set, you can get it for 15% off!

Let's begin with the bunny card.

To create the background for this card, I cut a piece of Bee Inspired watercolor paper down to 4.25" x 5.5" in size. I then took Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Inks and smooshed them on my glass media mat. I spritzed them with water using a mini mister and then dipped the paper in the ink. I kept adding ink until I was satisfied with the color/saturation. I set the panel aside for a moment as I cleaned up my work surface. I then added some shimmery splatters to the panel using Lindy's Starburst Spray in Hi Maintenance Magenta. I set the whole panel aside to dry while I worked on the rest of the card.
I stamped the fun bunny and sentiment on white cardstock using my Misti and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The image comes from the Easter Fun stamp set. The sentiment says "Hand over the eggs and nobody gets hurt."
I let the ink dry completely and then colored the bunny with Prismacolor colored pencils.
Specific colors:
Pinks: Mulberry, Process Red, Hot Pink, and Deco Pink
Oranges: Orange and Yellowed Orange
Browns: Dark Umber and Chocolate
French Grays: 70%, 50%, 20%, and 10% French Gray
Black
I added a white highlight to the sunglasses with a white gelly roll pen as a finishing touch and then fussy cut the bunny and sentiment. There are coordinating dies with this set, but I didn't use them for this project.
I then took the largest size rectangle from the Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle die set and used my Big Shot and magic mat to cut from the background panel I created. I glued it flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and then added the bunny and sentiment. That's it for that card.
Moving on to the egg card.

I created the background for this card the same way as I did for the bunny card. I used Worn Lipstick, Tumbled Glass, and Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Inks. For the splatters, I used Lindy's Starburst Sprays in Hi Maintenance Magenta, Sassy Sapphire, and Prima Donna Purple. I set the panel aside to dry and worked on the image.
I stamped the egg and sentiment using the same black in. The sentiment for the egg says "Does this make me look fat?" This is from the same stamp set as the bunny.
I colored the egg using Prismacolor colored pencils.
Specific colors; Pinks: Mulberry, Process Red, and Hot Pink
Blues: Peacock Blue and Non-Photo Blue
Purples: Parma Violet and Amethyst
I fussy cut around the egg and sentiment.
I then used the same stitched die to cut a rectangle from the panel and glued it to a white A2 card base and adhered the egg and sentiment to it.
That's it for both cards! I hope you enjoyed them and will head over to Kat Scrappiness to take a look at the sale. Which card is your favorite? Let me know in the comments below. I would love to hear from you.
Happy crafting!
