Kat Scrappiness Autumn Foliage Dies

Hello!

I am back with another project featuring products from Kat Scrappiness.

It is feeling very wintery here in Wisconsin, but I am not ready to let go of warm weather yet, so I am ignoring the scene outside my window and pretending it is a warm fall day with this fun card!

I started by die cutting a white panel of cardstock using the large die from the Kat Scrappiness Crafters Essentials Fall die set using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.

I then used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the sentiment from the Kat Scrappiness Farmhouse Sentiments set in the center of the panel. The sentiment reads "Your friendship is a blessing."

After the ink dried, I used Dylusions Pure Sunshine ink spray to add some orange spatters to the card for interest.

I used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and Vintage Photo Distress Ink to ink around the leaf so it stood out more. I then glued the panel to an orange A2 card base and used my Prismacolor pencils to color in the leaf on the card base. I used Sienna Brown, Pumpkin Orange, and Orange.

Next, I created two more leaves to add to the card using the Kat Scrappiness Autumn Foliage die set. I cut two of the maple leaves from orange cardstock and used a mini blending brush along with Spiced Marmalade, Vintage Photo, and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to add some shading. I arranged them on my card panel next to the negative space leaf and up in the upper right corner and glued them in place with Art Glitter Glue.

To finish the card, I added some Kat Scrappiness Gold Pearls around the sentiment and the bottom leaves.

That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.

Happy crafting!

Kelsey
