Growing in Unity Day 3

Hello!
I am back for day 3 of my Growing in Unity week over in the Growing in Unity group on Facebook.

I started by embossing the railroad image from the Unity Stamps Chapters and Crossings March 2025 KOM onto light brown cardstock using clear embossing powder. I tore the edges to give a vintage/grungy look.
I then used a foam blending tool and Vintage Photo and Walnut Stain Distress Inks to ink the panel and buffed off the excess ink using a microfiber cloth.
Next, I die cut a wildflower from the same light brown cardstock using the Tim Holtz Wildflowers 1 die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I used a Kat Scrappiness Crafty Dabber to add brown ink to it.
I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto another scrap of the light brown cardstock using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and tore/inked the edges of it.
To put the card together, I ripped the edges of a dictionary page and glued it to a kraft A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then added the railroad panel at an angle. Next, I glued down the wildflower die.
To make my sentiment stand out more, I found some gold lacey ribbon in my stash and glued it to the card using Fabritac glue and added the sentiment on top of it. A few of the sequins fell out of the ribbon, so I glued them to the card for some added sparkle.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed this card and are inspired to create.
I also encourage you to head over to the Growing in Unity Facebook group and comment on all of my posts for this week to be entered in to win a $20 gift card to Unity Stamps.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
