Hello!
I am excited to be the GIU Gal this week over in the Growing in Unity group on Facebook.
Here is my first project of the week:

To make this card, I die cut a piece of Bee Inspired watercolor paper using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Label Frame Nesting dies with my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.
Next, I used my MISTI and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the bee and floral image and sentiment from the Unity Stamps March 2025 KOM called Chapters and Crossings. I let the ink dry and then watercolored the image using Distress Watercolor Pencils (sets 1, 2, 3, and 4) and a number 2 round brush. Specific colors are below:
Bee body: Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey
Bee legs: Hickory Smoke
Bee Wings: Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio
Flower center: Spiced Marmalade and Wild Honey
Flower petals: Seedless Preserves and Picked Raspberry
Background: Mowed Lawn and Salty Ocean
After the panel dried, I glued it to a light teal A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also invite you to head over to the Facebook group and leave a comment on each of my posts throughout the week to be entered to win a $20 Unity Stamps gift card. I hope to see you there!
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
