Hello!
I am back today with day 4 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. Today I used the Clearly Besotted Bee Merry stamp set to make this adorable card.

I started by using the My Favorite Things Inside and Out Stitched Rectangle STAX dies (retired) and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat to cut a stitched rectangle from white cardstock. I then used Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink and an acrylic block to stamp the fun images from the Clearly Besotted Bee Merry stamp set (retired) onto the cardstock. I used my T square ruler and a King Art Inkline pen to draw a horizon line to ground my bee and honey pot.
I let the ink dry for a while and then colored the images with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors:
Bee (yellow): Cadmium Orange Hue, Sunburst Yellow, and Canary Yellow
Bee (black): Black, 90% Cool Grey, and 70% Cool Grey
Bee wings: Lavender/Orchid and White
Reds: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
Whites: 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White
Honey pot/hive: Burnt Ochre, Goldenrod, and Jasmine
Branch: Indigo Blue, Prussian Green, and Olive Green
Shadows: 90% Cool Grey
I found a brick paper in my stash to use as my background and glued it to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then added my colored panel.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
