Hello!
I am here today with my third project for my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. Today I used products from Kat Scrappiness to make this fun card!

I started by stamping the adorable avocados from the Kat Scrappiness You Guac My World and the hats from the Quokka Christmas Costume Add-on stamp sets onto white cardstock using an acrylic block and Honey Bee Stamps Intense Black ink.
I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color them. Specific colors:
Avocado skin: Dark Umber, Marine Green, and Moss Green
Avocado flesh: Moss Green, Lime Peel, and Chartreuse
Avocado pits: Dark Umber, Chocolate, and Burnt Ochre
Red part of hats: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red
White parts of hats: 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White
I fussy cut around the avocados and hats after I colored them using my scissors.
I then stamped the sentiment using the Honey Bee Stamps ink. I used the You Guac My World stamp set combined with the Happy Day set to make my own custom sentiment for this card that says 'Avo Great Christmas.
I created a background for my festive avocados by using the Kat Scrappiness XL Christmas Glitter paper and the Stitched Fancy Scalloped Rectangle dies. I ran the paper and die through my Sizzix Big Shot using my magic mat.
I glued the background panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue and arranged my avocados with Santa hats and sentiment on the card.
To finish off the card, I used the Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse and a toothpick to add some fun texture to the white parts of the hats.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Kat Scrappiness is also having a Xmas in July sale. Save 15% storewide using the code XMASJULY15 during the month of July. You can also enjoy free shipping on orders over $100.
