Christmas in July #27 - Whimsy Stamps Penguins

Hello!

I am back for day 27 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. I used Whimsy Stamps products for my card today.

I printed the adorable penguin and polar bear image from the Whimsy Stamps Penguin Holiday Squares digital stamp onto white cardstock using my Epson EcoTank printer. I also printed the sentiment from the Whimsy Stamps Penguin Christmas Sentiments 1 digital stamp set.

I used the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Squares dies to cut around the image using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat and then colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Penguins: 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, White, Black, 90% Warm Grey, 70% Warm Grey, Pumpkin Orange, Mineral Orange, and Goldenrod

• Polar bear: 20% Warm Grey, 10% Warm Grey, White

• Purple: Dioxazine Purple Hue, Imperial Violet, and Lilac (Amethyst - new color)

• Blue: Mediterranean Blue, Blue Lake, and Light Cerulean Blue

• Sky: Pink and Pink Blush

I found a snowflake patterned paper in my stash that went well with the card. I glued it to an A2 white card base using Art Glitter Glue and then added my penguin panel. I trimmed the sentiment down and add it to the card as well.
