Hello!
I am back for day 24 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. I used various products from my stash to make today's card.

I started by stamping the cupcake and sentiment from the Simon Says Stamp and Brutus Monroe Tricks and Treats Stamptember stamp set onto white cardstock using acrylic blocks and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. I set the images aside to dry while I worked on the background.
I die cut a piece of Neenah white cardstock using the Kat Scrappiness Stitched Postage Stamp Edge Rectangle dies to make a fun panel for my background using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used 1" mint tape to mask off the background to do some ink blending. For the bottom portion of the panel, I used an ink blending brush and Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Oxide Inks. I then placed new tape over the inked portion to mask it and used Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves Distress Oxide Inks to ink up the top portion. Before removing the tape, I used a paint brush to splatter some Tsukineko sheer shimmer spritz onto the panel.
After the ink was done drying on my stamped images, I colored them with Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Purple/pink: Dahlia Purple, Mulberry, and Process Red
Light green: Apple Green, Lime Peel, and Chartreuse
Dark green: Prussian Green, Olive Green, and Kelly Green
I used a Clear Star Gelly Roll pen for the sprinkles and star to add some extra shine to the card.
I then fussy cut around the cupcake pieces and sentiment with my scissors.
I arranged all of my elements onto a white A2 card base and glued them down with Art Glitter Glue.
To finish the card, I added some Trinity Stamps Glamourous Grape Baubles around the sentiment.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also want to invite you to join me in my cardmaking challenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post at the top of the page for details.

Happy crafting!
