Christmas in July #22 - Polka Dot Orchard Peppermint Wishes and Extra Sweet Christmas

Hello!

I am back for day 22 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. I used products from Polka Dot Orchard for my card.

I printed the image from the Polka Dot Orchard Peppermint Wishes and the sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Extra Sweet Christmas digital stamp sets onto white cardstock with my Epson EcoTank printer. The sentiment reads "Sending sweet holiday wishes."

I colored the mug using Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors:

• White: 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White

• Red: Crimson Lake, Crimson Red, and Carmine Red

• Blue: Blue Violet Lake, Blue Slate, and Powder Blue

• Cream: Beige, Cream, and White

I fussy cut around the mug and sentiment with my scissors.

I used a retired My Favorite Things Stitched Hexagon STAX die set to cut out a navy hexagon and another one from Sizzix Ivory Opulent Cardstock. I used the Opulent Pearl paper. I ran the dies through my Sizzix Big Shot along with my magic mat.

I layered all of the elements for my card onto a blue A2 card base and glued everything in place with Art Glitter Glue.
