Hello!
I am back for day 13 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. Today I am using products from the new House Mouse release from Spellbinders.

I started off by die cutting a piece of Bee Inspired watercolor paper using the Spellbinders Scallop and Stitched Edge Oval dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I also die cut a scalloped oval from Sizzix Opulent cardstock glitter paper using the same die set.
I used my MISTI and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the adorable mouse scene from the Spellbinders House Mouse Tree-mendous Christmas stamp set. I think these little mice are the cutest.
After the ink dried, I then used a number 2 round brush and Grabie watercolor paints to color the scene. Specific colors:
Juniper
Lemon Curry
Macaron Khaki
Syrup
Macaron Peach
Scorpion
Red
Yale Blue
Pearl
Argentina Blue
Once the panel was dry, I glued it to the glittery oval using Art Glitter Glue.
I then used my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer and score board to make an A2 card base using Spellbinders Breeze cardstock. I thought this light blue color went perfectly with my Christmas scene. I glued the oval to the center of the card.
To finish off the card, I stamped the sentiment from the House Mouse set that reads "Peace, Joy, and Love to You" onto a strip of white cardstock using the Altenew ink and an acrylic block. I attached the sentiment strip using foam squares.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create. I also encourage you to check out the new Spellbinders release here.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
