Christmas in July #12 - Spellbinders Cocoa Wonderland

Hello!
I am back for day 12 of my personal #christmasinjuly2025 cardmaking challenge. Today I used products from the new Spellbinders release to make my card.
I die cut the pieces for the fun Santa mug using the Spellbinders Cocoa Wonderland die set and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I used scraps of colored cardstock from my stash that were the colors that I wanted.
Next, I added some shading to the die cut pieces, even to the smallest parts! This was time consuming and not 100% necessary, but I feel like it added so much interest and dimension to the card and was well worth it. I used Prismacolor colored pencils to do the shading.
Specific colors (these would vary depending on your cardstock colors):
White: 20% Cool Grey, 10% Cool Grey, and White
Face: Burnt Ochre, Peach, and Deco Peach
Nose, cheeks, and sprinkles: Process Red, Hot Pink, and Deco Pink
Dark green: 90% Cool Grey, Indigo Blue, and Dark Green
Light green: Indigo Blue, Dark Green, and Grass Green
After I was done with the shading, I used Art Glitter Glue to put all of the pieces together.
To create a background for my mug, I used the Spellbinders Joyful Candy Cands 3D Embossing folder to emboss some white cardstock. I then used the Kat Scrappiness Antique Gold Airy Metallic Mousse to add some shine.
I created an A2 card base using my Tim Holtz guillotine trimmer, score board, and Spellbinders Dahlia cardstock and glued the background panel and mug down. To finish off the card, I fussy cut around the sentiment from the Polka Dot Orchard Extra Sweet Christmas digital stamp set using my scissors. The sentiment reads "May your holidays be extra sweet," and I thought that went perfectly with this card.
