Hello!
Happy July! I am challenging myself this month to make a Christmas card each day in July as part of a personal #christmasinjuly2025 challenge. I hope you will join in on the fun and build your Christmas card stash.
Today I am sharing this card I made using products from Polka Dot Orchard.

I started by printing the adorable mouse image from the Polka Dot Orchard Merry Christmouse and the sentiment from the Very Beary Christmas digital stamp sets onto white cardstock using my Epson EcoTank printer. I fussy cut around the sentiment using my scissors.
I colored the mouse using Crayola colored pencils. Specific colors are below:
Purple: Royal Purple and Plum
White: White and Timberwolf
Black: Ash and Black
Light Brown: Almond and Sand
Dark Brown: Taupe and Dark Chocolate
Teal: Aqua Green and Green Blue
I then used the My Favorite Things Fanciful Frame STAX dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat to cut out a fancy shape. Sadly, the frame die is retired, but you could use any fancy shaped die to get a similar effect.
Next, I created the background by trimming a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz Guillotine Trimmer. I then used the Spellbinders Joyful Candy Canes 3D embossing folder and my Big Shot to emboss the paper. I used a Kat Scrappiness mini blending brush and Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink to add a light amount of color over the raised areas.
I glued the background panel to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then added the mouse panel and sentiment. To finish the card, I added some Kat Scrappiness Mint Leaves pearls around the sentiment.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
