Hello!
I am back for day 9 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I used products from Honey Bee Stamps to make my card.

I started by die cutting a panel from white cardstock using the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used my MISTI and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the cute kitten scene and sentiment from the Honey Bee Stamps Meow & Furever stamp set.
After the ink dried, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color the scene. Specific colors are below:
Flowers: Violet, Parma Violet, and Lilac (Amethyst)
Leaves: Prussian Green, Olive Green, and Lime Peel
Grass: Apple Green, Spring Green, and Chartreuse
Cat: 90%, 50%, 30%, 20%, and 10% Warm Grey and Black
Sky: Cloud Blue
Bird bath: 70%, 30%, and 20% Cool Grey
Single flower: Process Red
Water: Carribean Sea
Birds: Indigo Blue, Copenhagen Blue, True Blue, Dark Umber, Chocolate, and Light Umber
I found a gray striped patterned paper from my stash and trimmed it to 4" x 5.25" and glued it flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then centered the panel on top of it.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also want to invite you to join me in my #cardmakingchallenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post at the top of my page for details.

Happy crafting!
Kelsey
