Hello!
I am back for day 6 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I used products from Spellbinders and Mama Elephant to make my card.

I first trimmed a piece of white cardstock to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz guillotine trimmer. Next, I used the new Spellbinders Lots of Circles stencil, a blending brush, and Picked Raspberry Distress Ink to add pink circles to my panel. I then rotated the stencil and used a palette knife and Kat Scrappiness Rainbow Glitter Mousse to add some sparkly circles. Note: When using pastes and mousse, clean your work surface, stencils, and tools right away so that they paste/mousse doesn't dry on them.
While the background panel was drying, I used the new Spellbinders Essential Stars die set to cut out two stitched stars using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I inked around the edges of the stars using blending brushes and Mustard Seed and Spiced Marmalade Distress Inks.
I then stamped the sentiment and bunny from the Mama Elephant Yay A Party stamp set using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment reads "Happy birthday to you!" After the ink dried, I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image. Specific colors are below:
Balloon: Mulberry, Process Red, and Hot Pink
Chair: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, and Light Umber
Bunny: 70% French Grey, 50% French Grey, 30% French Grey, 20% French Grey, 10% French Grey, and Black
After the background panel was dry, I glued it flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then arranged the stars on it and glued them flat as well.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also want to invite you to join me in my cardmaking challenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post at the top of my page for details.

Happy crafting!
Kelsey
