August Birthday Bash #30

Hello!
I am back for day 30 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. I can't believe there is only one more day left this month! It has flown by so quickly! I used various products from my stash for today's card.

I started by die cutting a piece of white cardstock using the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX dies and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then smooshed some Wild Honey Distress Ink onto my glass media mat, spritzed it with water using my mini mister, and dipped the paper in it to pick up some ink. I set it aside to dry. I made sure to soak up the rest of the ink with a piece of watercolor paper to use for another project.
After the panel was dry, I used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the flower and "sweet birthday wishes" from the Gina K Designs So Berry Sweet stamp set (retiring, but still available as a bundle at A Cherry On Top).
After the black ink dried, I colored the flower using Altenew Artist Markers. I used the Warm and Cozy set to color the petals (Y512 and Y514) and the Sea Shore set to color the stem and leaves (B815 and B635).
I next cut out a black matte using the same die set and glued my panel to it using Art Glitter Glue, and then glued it flat to an orange A2 card base.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also want to invite you to join me in my #cardmakingchallenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post for details.

Happy crafting!
Kelsey
