August Birthday Bash #22 and #23

Hello!

I am back for days 22 and 23 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. I was busy yesterday working out on the farm taking care of my birds and garden, so I didn't get around to posting yesterdays card.

Here is the first card:

I started by stamping the tractor from the Paper Rose Studio Vintage Tractor stamp set onto white cardstock using my MISTI and Stampin' Up! Always Artichoke ink. I then cut it out using the coordinating die and my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.

I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment from the same set and then die cut it using the retired My Favorite Things Inside and Out Stitched Circle STAX dies.

To assemble the card, I found a piece of patterned paper from my stash and trimmed it to 4" x 5.25" using my Tim Holtz guillotine trimmer. I glued the patterned paper and tractor flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue. I then popped up the sentiment with foam squares.

That's it for the first card.

Here is today's project:

I started by die cutting a piece of kraft cardstock using the retired My Favorite Things Inside and Out Stitched Rectangle STAX dies.

I then used my MISTI and the retired Altenew Indoor Garden stamp set to stamp a shelf and some fun plants. I used the following inks:

For the sentiment, I used the Honey Bee Stamps Be Still stamp set, and acrylic block, and the Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. The sentiment reads "birthday wishes."

I glued everything flat to a matching A2 kraft card base.

That's it!

I hope you enjoyed both cards and are inspired to create.

I also want to invite you to join me in my #cardmakingchallenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post at the top of my page for details.
