Hello!
I am back for day 20 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I am using the Whale Done stamp set from Stampin' Up! for my card.

I started by trimming down a piece of cardstock to 4" x 5.25" for my background from my stash of gel plate papers.
I then used the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX dies to cut out a navy and light blue octagon using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat.
On the light blue octagon, I used an acrylic block and Stampin' Up! Night of Navy ink to stamp a scene using the Stampin' Up! Whale Done stamp set (retired). I stamped the sentiment using Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink. For the whale, I stamped him on a lighter blue cardstock and used my scissors to fussy cut around him. I popped him up using foam squares.
I glued everything flat to a white A2 card base using Art Glitter Glue to finish off the card.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to create.
I also want to invite you to join me in my #cardmakingchallenge over on my Facebook page. See the pinned post at the top of my page for details.

Happy crafting!
Kelsey
