August Birthday Bash #17 - Newton's Nook Inky Paws Challenge #243

Hello!

I am back for day 17 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I am playing along with the Newton's Nook Designs Inky Paws Challenge #243 for my card.

The challenge this month is a sketch challenge. I found a fun patterned paper and glitter paper to use for the two layers and glued them flat to a piece of white cardstock that was trimmed to 4" x 5.25" in size using Art Glitter Glue.

I then used an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp the sentiment and cat from the Newton's Nook Designs Newton Rides West stamp set (retired). The sentiments reads "WANTED for celebrating another birthday!"

After the ink dried, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color it. Specific colors are below:

• Hat: Dark Umber, Chocolate, and Sienna Brown

• Hat Band: Dark Purple, Dahlia Purple, and Mulberry

• Nose/Ears: Peach, Deco Peach, and Light Peach

• Cat Belly: Beige, Cream, and White

• Cat Body: Mineral Orange, Goldenrod, and Yellow Ochre
