August Birthday Bash #15 - Lawn Fawnatics Color Inspiration Challenge

Hello!

I am back for day 15 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I am playing along with the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge for my card.

I started by die cutting the cloud panel from white cardstock with the Lawn Fawn Puffy Clouds Backdrop Landscape die using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then cut the hills using the Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders dies.

To add color to my clouds and hills, I used blending brushes and Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn, and Shabby Shutters Distress Inks.

I then stamped the trees, leaves, mushrooms, porcupines, stump, and snail from the Lawn Fawn Porcu-pine for You stamp set using an acrylic block and Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink.

After the ink was dry, I colored in the images using my Prismacolor colored pencils. Specific colors are below:

• Leaves: Apple Green, Spring Green, and Chartreuse

• Snail Body and Mushroom Spots: Sunburst Yellow, Canary Yellow, and Deco Yellow

• Mushrooms and Snail Shell: Peach, Deco Peach, and Light Peach

• Porcupine Bodies: Light Umber, Beige Sienna, and Seashell Pink

• Porcupine Quills: Dark Umber, Dark Brown, and Light Umber

• Trees/Stump: Chocolate, Sienna Brown, and Henna

I used my Brother scan 'n cut to cut out all of the images and then used a black Marvy Le Plume marker to color around the edges to hide the white cardstock.

I layered my clouds and hills and glued them together using Art Glitter Glue. I then added all of the elements for my scene, leaving space at the top for the sentiment.

I stamped the sentiment using my MISTI and the Lawn Fawn Wavy Sayings stamp set.

I glued everything to a white A2 card base.
