August Birthday Bash #13 - Altenew August 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Hello!

I am back for day 13 of my August #birthdaycardbash challenge. Today I am playing along with the Altenew August 2025 Inspiration Challenge for my card.

I started by die cutting a white panel with the retired My Favorite Things Stitched Designer Octagon STAX dies using my Sizzix Big Shot and magic mat. I then used some repositionable adhesive to stick the panel inside my MISTI so I could line up the daisy image from the Altenew Paint-A-Flower African Daisy stamp set. I used Altenew Obsidian Pigment Ink to stamp it. The sentiment is from the Altenew Hug Me set.

After the ink dried, I used my Prismacolor colored pencils to color it. Specific colors are below:

• Leaves: Dark Green, Olive Green, and Kelly Green

• Flower Centers: Yellow Ochre, Jasmine, and Sand

• Flower Petals: Mulberry, Process Red, and Hot Pink

I created a background for my card using the Altenew Organic Linen 3D embossing folder.

I glued everything flat to an A2 white card base using Art Glitter Glue.
