Hello,
Today I am sharing the project I made for the Altenew April 2022 Inspiration Challenge, which you can join by clicking this link.
This is the challenge inspiration image this month. This month we are challenged to create a card inspired by this lovely spring palette.
Here's my card!
I created the background using Canson XL watercolor paper that I cut down to 4" x 5.25" to use as my card panel. I used Dylusions ink sprays in Lemon Zest and Cut Grass to make the background. The background is one that I made a long time ago when I was playing around with my sprays. I am finally getting around to using it. I'm sure you know the feeling. :)
I stamped the Altenew Paint a Flower: Anemone Outline stamp using black ink onto some white cardstock and colored it using my Spectrum Noir alcohol markers. I fussy cut the image with my scissors..
I glued the floral image to my card base and stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set. I accented the centers of the flowers with some retired Studio Katia White Diamond crystals.
I then attached the whole card panel to a purple A2 card base.
That's it! I hope you enjoyed the card and are inspired to join along in the challenge.
Happy crafting!
Kelsey
